Sometimes life throws you a curveball. Sometimes you hit a speedbump. Sometimes your simple little life might not be so simple for a chapter. Continue to stay positive. Don't walk around dwelling on this speedbump. Deal. Get through/over it and move on. Keep moving. Stay positive. Be insanely thankful for the amazing people that surround you

Way to represent Australia guys! Thanks tons for being bullied into play again this year. AND Kane! And Russell and Ashleigh popping in there. The pictures bring such joy to my sweet simple life. Thank you so much. Love you all.

I don't even know where to begin and what to say. Sure, I might be the only one reading this, but I still want to get it out here. My heart is so full.
I remember this feeling after last years, the first Bodies in Motion. That one just happen and evolved into one of the best days ever. Can't even explain the magical feelings of receiving pictures and verbiage from those who joined in around the globe. NEVER thought I would recreate that day and didn't want and in someway to be disappointed if I didn't experience that same magically feeling. I was so wrong. Yesterday was again, just AMAZING. Might even be more special this year.
Again, the pictures, the calls, the words. So inspiring. I actually saw a couple people out there on their own doing their thing (which was a BONUS) and finished up my ride to join in with the Walkers for their journey. It's all about creating memories.
I admire and respect each and every one of you who jumped right in when I asked if you wanted to entertain the idea of setting a goal, training and making it happen. People from so many different chapters of my life all coming together to get their bodies in motion. What a feeling. I hope you all experience just a bit of what I am feeling.
Can't even begin to thank you and share with everyone what each person did here. From buying bikes, borrow bikes, working, or working and going to school and still making time to train. Honestly, so much respect to everyone. I will be reaching out to have everyone write a word or two here hopefully. I will be reading them during my upcoming down time. Hiccup. Speedbump, Challenge. Call the curve balls life throws us from time to time what you will. Just makes us stronger. Goodness, I hope so!

Thank you Teri! for the inspiration to do a 10k this year. This old girl still has it (kinda!). Let's do this every year!
And congrats to ALL the global participants, I'm proud to be in the company of this set of bodies in motion.

Terilyn,
I love the quote on the back of your sweatshirt ”it always seems impossible until it’s done”. Although we didn’t do the whole tri but only biked I say “ wow it’s done and we did it .” Thanks Teri for motivating us ❤️love you Terilyn

Took the opportunity to push myself for Bodies in Motion 2 and got a 100k (62.1 miles) personal record riding virtually on my turbo trainer via Zwift — did not stop pedaling once (not one second of coasting) for 2 hours and 38 minutes straight in order to stick with the lead peloton of mostly Australians and South Africans! A global event indeed.
Had to endure many dad jokes along the way. This one made me think of you, Teri (a dedicated blood donor): A priest, a minister, and a rabbit walk into a blood donation center. The nurse asks, “What’s your blood type?” The rabbit says, “I think I’m a type O.”

Teri, this amazing challenge finally got me out of my listless, pandemic-inspired slump and I’m so thankful for meeting you at the gym crazy early all those years ago! You’re and inspirations and an ass-kicking badass. Xoxo, Julie M
